Tiggerific Layout

I've been busy with school work but I managed to created one layout to destress me. I was arranging my papers after taking photos for Marj's RAK when I came across my Tigger papers that I bought from my mom's friend and Tigger phrases that I bought from Memory Lane Store. I instantly had an urge to use it. Luckily my son had some photos with Tigger so I used it for my layout. Here's the output:

ALIKE

Details:

JOURNALING:

10 things Andrei and Tigger have in common:

1- unstopapabibble (unstopable)
2 - bounce outside the lines
3- easily excitable
4- contagious smile
5 - charm-a-rific
6 - always up to something
7 - ready for action
8 - easily excitable (again! super HYPER)
9 - Bounce-tacular
10 - Think less. Bounce more. (Always with a bump sa hilig tumalon)

JOURNALING 2:
The wonderful thing about TiggersIs Tiggers are wonderful thingsTheir tops are made out of rubberTheir bottoms are made out of springsThey're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncyFun, fun, fun, fun, funBut the most wonderful thing about TiggersIs I'm the only one

I printed the title over an orange cardstock then made tiger stipes. I printed the numbers to a white paper then adhered it on green and purple buttons.

Tagged

Donna tagged me!

Instructions:Each player starts with 7 random habits/facts about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their seven things, as well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to choose 7 people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them that they have been tagged and to read your blog!7 random facts about me:

1. I am eldest among 4 sisters

2. I’m a hoarder (isn’t everyone?) I love collecting clothes, bags, and scrapping stuff.

3. I’m a Tigress at heart. Even if I’m not studying at UST anymore I’ll always be loyal to it. (My son is becoming a tiger at heart)

4. I’m mistaken to be a snob since elementary because my eyebrows are automatic. (Kahit naka-smile ako nakataas pa rin kilay ko)

5. My hubby is always scolding me dahil mahilig daw ako sa responsibility. I’d rather volunteer to be the class leader or take in charge of the class because I hate irresponsible people na pwedeng idamay ang whole class.

6. I love using sketches in my Los

7. I’m a certified lola’s girl & Pooh Junkie like my son.

My Hidden World

When Lee announced this RAK I was so afraid to reveal my stash to the world! Since I only started scrapping full time last June I don't have much stuff. I literally scrap on the floor since I don't have my own space (imagine the backpains). Most of my stuff are kept in boxes, plastic bags and shoe boxes. I'm not investing much on storages since our dream house is on the way. (My own scrap space -- FINALLY!) I also keep my stash in boxes and plastic bags so my dear hubby won't ask me HOW MUCH I've spent on them (I'm sure he'll faint dead right away). I only have a few since I only buy what I'll use and my allowance isn't enough for milk and diapers and my hobby.

So Marj, thanks for this generous RAK. I had fun doing this.

Here's my scrap space.

Bitten by the card bug

My 'creative juices' are still high but I'm not in the mood to make LOs. Instead, I made a couple of cards using my scraps and old stash.

The cards were inspired by card sketches from Patti Hutchinson and Becky of Pagemaps.

The cards below are from Patty Hutch sketches.

These cards are based on a September card sketch from Pagemaps. I made 2 versions of it:

Sketch Inspirations

School work is so toxic this week. Sobrang sakit sa ulo ang subject kong Argumentation & Debate. We are like in a courtroom hearing. If I had a choice, I'll just drop the subject but sadly I can't. So instead of doing my 400-500 words speech assignment I just scrapped and scrapped and scrapped (much to my husband's dismay). LOL! I'm much inspired to do LOs than speeches okay?

Here are the layouts I made:

You & Me

This is based on Em's October Sketch at Scrappin' Moms .

JOURNALING:
Andrei and his teddy are inseparable since Mamu Tess gave it to him almost two years ago, he could never leave the house without him, can’t sleep without him, can’t eat without him, can’t play without him, can’t bathe without him… he loves Teddy so much. They are the best of friends.

that face

This one is based on a sketch of pagemaps (Nov. 07) I printed the title and journaling directly on the cardstock.

JOURNALING:
Andrei, when I looked at that sweet little face of yours, I cannot help but smile. You’re little round lips, those big brown eyes, and your darling little nose the face of all that means to me in this life. You are the perfect combination of mischief and love. That little face brings so much happiness and laughter, so much worry and love. When I look at that little face my heart melts. All other worries of life disappear and I see all that is truly important. That face is the most beautiful in the world to me. It is perfection, it is sweetness. That is the face I’ve loved from the moment you were born, the face that I will love for always. Mama

Celebrate Love

As I was thinking about my Sweet Inspiration for PS Kaya 7 challenge, I came across my son’s RBW (Red, Black & White) flashcards that I used to develop his visual activity when he was a baby.

The colors caught my curiosity and attention. Why did babies see only these colors when they are just starting to take notice of their surroundings? For me, the colors also complement each other and they stand out. It’s also very versatile. In fashion, you can use these colors for glamour or for ‘punks’.

So here’s my interpretation of the Red, Black, White color scheme.

Journaling:
Another year has gone by since I fell in love with you. Another year of being so true. This has been the best year of all other years and it’s been six years and we’re still here. We’ve been through many ups and downs but we remained strong and made it through the odds. Love kept us together. I only pray that God may grant me more years to love you, cherish you and serve you. I love you so much.
