Joyful Hearts

Here's my layout that was published in the website of About.com: Scrapbooking. Hope you like it.

About.com: Scrapbooking Joyful Heart Page

I was reading my mail today when I saw an e-mail from Rebecca Ludens of About Scrapbooking. I saw that their topic is about pages using quotes and remembered I submitted my LO and much to my surprise, there it was in the gallery! Although my name isn't published, I'm still glad to see my LO in their website. I'll send more LO for their gallery and hope to inspire more scrappers.

Sweet Child

This is my layout for my friend Clarisse. She gave birth to Elliana Cereese last August and I thought this will be a great subject for Scrapbytes' September Challenge. It's also a post-welcoming gift I'm planning to give her. Lia is such a cutie and since I'm longing to have a daughter, I'll just make LOs for her... My son would surely be so jealous. I discovered Dreamstreet Papers from SMILE and I fell instantly in love with it. Their papers would surely grace many LOs from me. It's so versatile and the designs are unique and very lovely. I'm surely beyond words.

Materials: Pps - (Cardstock) Bazzill, (Mat) Paper Pizzaz Brights, (Patterned Pps) Dreamstreet Papers: Whirls-n-Swirls Squiggles, Romantique Simplicity, Story of a Seed Pots a Plenty; Craft Express rub-on (title); All About Scrapbooking Brads, Ribbons and quote; Heidi Grace Punchboard (title); My Style Patches (Heart & Flower); SM Dept. Store Buttons

I used the brads here as an accent in the papers design (LEFT) and I placed the rub-on on a Heidi Grace Punch board as a title (ABOVE).

Starbucks Teddy

Finally have time to update my blog... I was arranging my picture files for future layouts and I saw this picture of my son Andrei. So cute with his security blanket Starbucks Teddy from her Mamu Tess. He likes Teddy so much that he couldn't sleep without it. When I went to Starbucks to get a strawberry frappe he saw Starbucks Teddy - Philippines. He's so hooked he even asked for the Philippine edition of the Starbucks Teddy for Christmas. Haiii... Don't grow up too fast little boy, I might not keep up with you.

Little Princess

This is Elliana Cereese Acuna- Angustia. The baby of the year... So pretty little princess of beautiful mommy Clariz and daddy Edward. Born last August 27, this pretty girl will sure have many LOs from me.. Hope you grow up as pretty as your mommy but as good and as studious as Auntie Acie... Hehehe... No offense meant Mare!

Scrapbytes' Onli in Da Pilipins Entry

I missed blogging. Been very busy with a lot of things lately. My last LO was the Scrapbytes August Challenge. Here is my LO that I made a few days before the deadline. It is entitled 'Mangga't Bagoong'. I chose this particular food because it's my favorite. I especially like it before my period and when I was craving during my 1st trimester of pregnancy.

Materials used: Sinamay, SM Supplies; Pps (Card stock and Handmade pps) All About Scrapbooking; Foam Letter, American Crafts; Tracing paper for journaling; and foam flowers, All About Scrapbooking
