I bought small plain chinese takeout boxes from RM Box Center that Marian suggested (thanks Marian! It was a great help!) I just assembled it and put spooky halloween border and trick or treat tag that I printed out from the computer. I then put black ribbon as handle and filled it with assorted candies and chocolates.

Trick or Treat
To my surprise, Andrei volunteered to sponsor their class' trick or treat. I was surprised with her teacher's thank you note. After a few words with my kid, I thought, they're just kids. It's once a year so, why not. Being a stage mom AND scrapper mom, I wouldn't just pack the candies on plastic bags, I would find creative ways to pack it. So I searched the net for a few tips and stumbled upon a few great ideas. I stumbled upon Martha Stewart's coffin treat boxes and the chinese takeout treat boxes (sorry, I forgot the site). I was contemplating which one is cheaper and easier to make so I decided to go with the chinese takeout treat boxes.
Tween birthday giveaway
My sister celebrated her 11th birthday last October 12. She asked me to make a few stuff for her goodie bags that she will give away for her best buds. An 11-year old, still loves goodie bags? Well, we grown ups loves freebies, so why not? Lucky for her, I was experimenting on a few door hangers that I got from Japan Homes, which I was planning to give away to CK's godparents on December.
I used all my old patterned papers and decoupaged it onto the door hanger. Then I decorated it with buttons, lace, ribbons, etc. Here's the sample of the door hanger that I made. (more photos soon)
The goodie bag also contains a wooden flower photoholder. I made ATCs that also serves as "Thank you" cards. I hand stamped the flower image onto the 2.5 x 3.5 light green cardstock. Then I stamped the bee image and "many thanks" onto a plain white cardstock and cut it out. I mounted it on double-sided foam tape and into the ATC.

Here are the rest of the bag's contents: an ID lace, a teddy keychain, Hello Kitty mini notebook, wooden flower photoholder and the door hanger with the recipient's name.

PS-SE Mad Scrapper's Xmas Party
I had blast with my 1st PS-SE Xmas party last Dec. 6 at Bel-air clubhouse. Met some of my scrapper friends and newbies.. Of course my fave part... SHOPPING!!!!! Got to buy lots of goodies...
I also love the Human Bingo where we are asked to have the clues signed by that person being reffered and when completed be eligable to the raffle... I was on the list... THE PREGNANT SCRAPBOOKER (apparently I was the only one who attended the party, aside from Mitch Sy who is also preggy but was signee of Visual Creations). That game is fun and I'm planning to do that also for our family reunion on the 24th. We had a halloween party because we were asked to come in costumes... We also did a valentine layout then had an easter egg hunt (we hunted for paper eggs) for a RAK... The food was yummy and I was so happy I didn't mind if I'm pagod afterwards... We also had an elephant swap and ATC swap.
Here are some of that day's pics:
